This web page was constructed between June 2020 and September 2020 (its construction was jump started by a spreadsheet from Michael Williams of everything published in the first 17 volumes of the Annals). The plan is for quarterly updates (if you see errors in the list, please let me know: dave@walden-family.com).

The list is organized by volume and issue. The goal is to be a complete list of notes that have been published as Annals Events & Sightings pieces (under this current deparmtent name or under other names for the department).
¶ Such a list in one place perhaps will be useful for historians of computing. (Events and Sightings type notes perhaps have also been told in the Annals as part of feature-length articles and in other departments, and those are not included.)
¶ Having the full list of Events and Sightings reports in one place also makes clear the variety of topics covered in the departent over the history of the Annals. I hope this variety reminds journal readers and others that they too may have reports to offer.
¶ Seeing all entries in a single list also indicates what was new or current over the history of the Annals, for instance, the implementation of computing history listserves and websites in the 1980s.

The terms of the several editors of the deparment are indicated in the list. The initials, e.g., MiR, after some of the titles indicate the department in which the piece was published. Succesive pieces in the same department leave off the department initials.
